Description
Knitters know that you can never have too many bags! Carrying your projects in a bag that coordinates with a previous project or the colors of your current cast on can be a cute way to knit with a little extra flair. The Dumplin’ Bag project will be a collection of 12 bags over the course of a year. One will be released each month for Dumplin’ Devotees to knit using fun colorful scraps, favorite colorways or leftovers from previous Irocknits Designs. Each bag will be themed and will be sold as a collection and sold separately.
PATTERN NOTES: This bag is knit first as a flat bottom rectangle in garter stitch and then picked up around to knit the sides to the drawstring double knit top casing. I highly recommend matching the weight of your yarn to the pattern yarn weight that is recommended. (For example: this pattern recommends worsted weight yarn = 250 yards (229 m) per 113 grams (3.98 oz). Using a skein with significantly fewer or more yards will result in
a different product. SIZES: One size
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS:
Circumference: 26.5“ [67.5 cm] Base: 8” [20.5 cm] x 5” [12.5 cm]
IMPORTANT NOTE: This is a checklist pattern, each round is written out for easier tracking and checkboxes are placed for marking off upon completion– however, this makes the pattern significantly longer – check to see the pages you want to print before starting.
A knitting project bag is a bag of joy and hope.
