PATTERN NOTES: This blown yarn is listed as bulky but can be knit at many gauges. The cowl is knit top down with increases every few inches, it provides slightly wider coverage at the shoulders.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: 17.75”/45 cm neck; 26.75”/68 cm bottom; 15.5”/39.5 cm tall
YARN: 1 skein bulky blown yarn (284 yards/100 g)
SAMPLE was knit using 1 skein of Lang Yarns Cloud Tweed Bulky in color No. 1 Rainbow (84% Wool – Merino, 10% Manufactured Fibers – Nylon / Polyamide. 6% Camelid – Alpaca) 284 yds/100grams and weighed 72 grams using 205 yds/187.5 m.

NOTE: For a more economical choice, KnitPicks Wonderfluff or Drops Air but you will need 2 skeins.

NEEDLES: US Size 7 (4.5 mm) 16-inch (40 cm) circular needle or size needed to obtain gauge.

GAUGE: 18 sts and 22 rounds per 4”/10 cm (4.5 sts and 5.5 rnds per 1”/2.5 cm) in stockinette stitch

NOTIONS: 8 stitch markers, tapestry needle.
