Description
I’ve wanted to design a chunky cowl and hat combo for a while, I think knitting with chunky yarn can make a quick and easy knit for a gift for a friend or family member. This cowl works up in an evening or two and turns out lovely. The chunky yarn allows a bit of body so that it doesn’t slouch down around your chest and provides a little bit of warmth sort of like a turtleneck without the restriction. The cowl is knit flat and grafted upon completion, as is the band of the hat and stitches are picked up around one side to close the top. And because I love a “set,” there is a coordinating hat pattern for this cowl.
