Description

How a hat makes you feel is what a hat is all about. – Philip Treacy

No one enjoys a hat more than my son-in-law. Rain or shine, sun or snow, Stevie is never without something to cover his “chrome dome.” He’s a happy fellow with a smile and a conversation for everyone. I knit him hats every year for gifts, but keeping up with clever but classic hat ideas for him sometimes has me wishing for simple lines and easy knitting.

IMPORTANT NOTE: I’ve included two versions of the pattern: Ribbed Crown and Stockinette Crown as 2 separate PDFs so knitters can choose their preference. Also, this is a checklist pattern, each round is written out for easier tracking – however, this makes the pattern significantly longer – check to see the pages you want to print before starting.
