Spring Fever Day Scarf & Shawl

I’ve wanted to make a small scarf since I startedearing a silk scarf from Ballerina Farm. I follow their account on Instagram and Hannah often dons a square silk scarf around her neck for a bit of warmth. But it’s also very stylish. Even her kids  wear them! This lovely color from Brown Sheep reminds me of spring flowers. And if you’re not a small scarf person then I designed this larger version using the same pattern. YARN: Brown Sheep Wildfoote Handpaint Luxury Sock yarn. (75% washable wool/ 25% nylon) 215 yds (196 m)/50 grams, 2 skeins
SAMPLE shawl was knit with Brown Sheep Wildfoote Handpaint Luxury Sock yarn in colorway Sonatina and weighed  94 grams using 404 yards using 6 mm beads in 4 colors.

NEEDLE: Size 3 (3.25 mm) 40-inch circular needle
GAUGE: 26 sts and 32 rows/4” [10 cm] (6.5 sts and 8 rows/1” [2.5 cm]) in stockinette stitch

NOTIONS: 4 stitch markers, optional: 140 – 6.0 mm larger beads or 360 – 4 mm 6/0 small seed beads; Superfloss or small crochet hook
Optional (for bead placement): small crochet hook or Superfloss (available on Amazon)
Optional: 6.0 mm beads
Optional: 4mm 6/0 Seed beads
