In the spirit of Coco Chanel, I have added this pearl bead bearing cowl as a companion to the original Christina Hat. The details on this easy to knit ribbed cowl add just enough class to put it into the category of another sophisticated piece to finish off this coordinated set.

The cowl includes optional eyelet rows stacked at the end of bead rounds for the I-cord embellishment to weave through. Cinch up the I-cord and tie it off using either an overhand knot or a bow. A nice little detail to set things off.

Yarn: Chelsea Yarns LUXE DK weight (100% Superwash merino / 225 yds /100g per skein) 1 (1, 1) skein AND Chelsea Yarns LUXE Mohair (72% kid mohair; 28% silk / 459 yds / 50g per skein) 1 (1, 1) skein

NOTE: Yarn is held double throughout. This DK weight yarn is very close to a worsted weight; most light worsted weight yarns will also achieve gauge. In addition, knitters may also use a worsted weight yarn and no mohair to get a different look but still achieve gauge.
