Description
This listing is for 2 sock patterns – one DK weight and one Fingering along with the coordinating hat.
In December of 2016, I designed my first hat pattern, the Chim Chim-in-ney Hat. Through the years I have watched as knitters have made them for their entire families for Christmas cards and family holiday pictures. Now years later, I have designed these coordinating socks as a collaboration with Jeanette and George of Sun Valley Fibers. I decided to write them as DK weight for a perfect month of December house sock but would also write a separate fingering weight pattern as well. Named for their red and white appearance of bricks these socks are also a nod to Mary Poppins and Dick Van Dyke, probably the most famous chimney sweep of all time.
